Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are a mainly fine and dry end to the day. Some clear skies and some scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Today high of 8.5C

Overnight – We are going to see a windy night. Spells of rain will move across the Western Isles. This rain will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph. The odd gust reaching 70 mph at times.

Morning and afternoon – We are going to see a windy day. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph. We could see some gusts reaching 70 mph but for most, it will stay below. Further spells of rain heavy and persistent at times. Some sunny spells but the cloud mainly dominating.

Evening – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. A band of showery rain will move across the islands. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Winds will be from the South East overnight from the South and South West during the day. Temps of 5C to 10C
