On this Monday afternoon we are seeing some rain and drizzle moving across the islands. Some clear spells but the cloud is mainly dominating. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Today’s high temp of 9.0C

Tuesday – Low pressure systems sit out the West and will bring strong winds and rain to the UK on Tuesday. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph. Strongest for Uist and Barra. Some gusts reaching 70 mph cannot be ruled out. Spells of rain which will be heavy and persistent at times. Some sunny spells and scattered showers. Winds will be from the South East overnight but will shift from the South West later. Temps of 5C to 10C
Wednesday – Staying windy as low pressure sits close to the Western Isles. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph widely. A mixture of sunshine and cloud with scattered showers. These heavy in places. Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 6C to 10C
Thursday – Low pressure moves away and we are going to see a brisk airflow setting up across the UK. We are going to see a winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph. A day of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy in places. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 5C to 9C
