Thursday’s forecast – Winds finally ease

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud with some light rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Today’s high of 9.9C

Overnight – We are going to see some rain and showers moving across the islands. Some of these heavy at times. In between a mixture of clear skies and cloud. it will be another mild night. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Some rain and showers. These becoming more scattered showers. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. The best of the sunshine for Uist and Barra. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Evening – A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds finally start to ease. A few scattered showers but most places will be dry. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 5C to 10C
