On this Thursday afternoon we are seeing showers and some of these heavy in places. Sunshine and cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and today’s high so far of 9.1C

Friday – High pressure sits across the UK centred 1041 mb in the Channel. Brisk winds for us as low pressure sits close to Greenland. We are going to see a mainly fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Rain and scattered showers into the evening a s a cold front moves across the Western Isles. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 5C to 11C
Saturday – High pressure remains firmly in control. The cold front slowly moves across the UK. For us in the Western Isles we are expecting to see a fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Winds will finally ease. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the South West around 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 5C to 11C
Sunday – High pressure strengthens across Scotland 1040 mb. In the Western Isles we are going to see fine and dry conditions with sunshine and cloud. The odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the South West. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 5C to 9C
