Good afternoon and welcome to Friday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Friday afternoon we are seeing the cloud dominiting with a few sunny spells. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds under 10 mph. Today’s high so far of 6.3C

Saturday – High pressure sits across the UK with weather fronts moving in from the West. In the Western Isles we are going to see rain and showers. These heavy at times. The cloud dominating with some sunny spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 3C to 8C
Sunday – High pressure over the Southern half of the UK with lingering weather fronts across much of Scotland and Northern Ireland. In the Western Isles we are going to see a cloud dominated day again with some sunny spells. We are going to see rain and showers these will be heavy at times. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 4C to 8C
Monday – High pressure declines away further away from the UK and weather fronts start building in from the Atlantic. The area of low pressure forms well to the South West which will bring strong winds and heavy rain later into next week. Monday will see a wet day across the Western Isles. The rain will be heavy and slow moving at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Some sunny spells. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 6C to 9C
