Today – An overcast start with some scattered showers. Heavy and persistent rain will move across the islands later this afternoon and evening. By the mid evening all parts will be seeing heavy rain. Behind it some of the showers by late evening will turn showery and possibly thundery. Some hazy sunshine but the cloud largely dominating. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph at times into the evening gusting 70 to possibly 75 mph for Uist and Barra. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 4C to 9C
Wednesday – Breezy day with spells of heavy rain. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.
Thursday – Spells of rain heavy at times. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. At times gusting 50 to 60 mph.
Friday – Sunshine and squally showers. Breezy.
