Wednesday’s forecast – Blustery winds and squally showers

Good evening Western isles. On this Tuesday evening the heaviest of the rain has now cleared away. Behind it we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud with squally showers. These heavy at times. Winds have gusted 60/75 mph. Today’s high of 8.3C

Overnight – We are going to see some clear skies and a few squally showers. Some of these heavy at times winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning – Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. In between the showers. These will be squally and heavy at times. Winds of 20/40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Afternoon and evening -again further rain and heavy rain will move across the islands. Not expected to be as heavy as Tuesday. Slowing easing into the late evening. Winds of 20/40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Coming In from the South East for time during the strongest winds. Temps of 3/9C
