Thursday’s forecast – Blustery winds and squally showers

Good evening Western isles. On this Wednesday evening we are seeing bands of rain moving across the Western isles these heavy in places. Clear skies and cloud in between winds of 20/40 mph. Today’s high of 8.8C

Overnight – We are going to see some clear skies and a few squally showers. Some of these heavy at times winds of 20 to 40 mph

Morning and afternoon – we are once again going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These will be heavy and squally at times possibly thundery with some sleet and hail mixed in. Winds of 20/40 mph gusting 50/60 mph at times.

Evening -further squally showers there possibly thundery and wintry at times. Some early evening sunny spells. Clear skies and cloud after sunset. Feeling colder and winds of 20/40 mph gusting 50/60 mph.

Winds will be from the West and North West. Temps of 3/9C
