The week ahead forecast – High pressure

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one. It has been a fairly settled weekend with some showers. Plenty of cloud and mainly light winds.

Tuesday – We are going to see some overnight rain and blustery winds as we move through the early hours of Tuesday. We are going to see a fine and dry day once the rain has cleared. Some decent and prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. The cloud will increase into the evening. Winds will come from the North West. Temps of 5C to 10C

Wednesday – Isles we are expecting to see a cloud dominated day. Winds will be light under 20 mph. A few scattered showers. Some mist and low cloud. Winds will be from the North West. Temps of 5C to 11C

Thursday – An overcast cloud dominated day with spells of light rain and drizzle. Misty as well. Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 6C to 10C

Friday – We are going to see a fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged sunshine. Some cloud. Winds under 10 mph from variable directions. Temps of 4C to 11C

Next weekend – Mainly fine and dry with sunshine and cloud. Light winds and mild.
