Weather Watch 17th March 2021

Good afternoon and welcome to Wednesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.

On this Wednesday afternoon we are seeing overcast conditions with some hazy sunshine. Light rain and drizzle in places with some low cloud and mist in places. Winds under 10 mph and today’s high of 11.3C

Thursday – High pressure across the UK with a weather front out to the West. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a cloud dominated day. Some light rain and drizzle. Mist and low cloud. Some hazy sunshine. Winds will be from the North West. Temps of 6C to 12C

Friday – High pressure still dominates the weather across the UK. A cold front sits across the UK. We are going to see an overcast day with some light rain and drizzle with a few sunny spells. Winds will be under 20 mph. Winds will be from the North West. Temps of 5C to 11C

Saturday – High pressure is still across the UK but it has lessened its grip a little. Some light rain and drizzle with some sunny spells. Winds under 20 mph from the South West. Temps of 6C to 11C
