Good afternoon and welcome to Thursday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Thursday afternoon we are seeing mainly overcast conditions with some sunshine at times. Some light rain and drizzle. Mist and low cloud in many places. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 10.0C so far.

Friday – High pressure dominates across the UK with a cold front sliding across the Southern half of the UK. Here in the Western Isles we are going to see a cloud dominated day. Some hazy sunshine. Light rain and drizzle at times with some mist and low cloud overnight. Winds will be from the North and North West under 20 mph. Temps of 7C to 11C
Saturday – High pressure dominates the weather across the UK with a warm front over the far South. In the Western isles we are going to see overcast with some spells of light rain and drizzle. Winds will be from the West and North West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 4C to 11C
Sunday – High pressure still dominates across the UK. A warm front sits across the West of the UK. For us in the Western isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers but for most places it will be fine and dry. Winds will be from the South and South West under 20 mph. Temps of 6C to 11C
