Good afternoon and welcome to Monday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Monday afternoon we are seeing the cloud dominating with some light rain and drizzle. Some clear skies in places. Winds under 20 mph. Today’s high so far of 10.4C

Tuesday – Low pressure moves close to the North West of the UK with gales for a time. We are going to see spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph. The cloud will dominate with some sunny spells. Turning colder and drier into the evening. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 3C to 9C but feeling colder in the wind chill.
Wednesday – The low pressure system from Tuesday has move away from the UK. A cold front sits over Southern England. We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These heavy at times. It’s going to feel cold again. Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 3C to 7C
Thursday – Low pressure near Iceland and associated weather fronts sit across the UK. In the Western Isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These showers will merge into some longer spells of rain at times. Plenty of cloud. Some of these showers will be wintry at times. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 4C to 10C
