Friday’s forecast – yes more rain and turning colder.


Good evening Western isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing bands of rain and showers moving across the Western Isles these are heavy in places. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and today’s high of 9.6C

Overnight – We are going to see rounds of rain moving across the islands. This will be heavy at times. Cloud dominating with some clear spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Spells of rain and showers. Squally heavy showers at times. Some decent spells of sunshine in between. Plenty of cloud and turning colder. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Evening – A cold evening with some sleet and snow showers. Rain mixed in. Some sunny spells and clear skies for a time but plenty of cloud. Winds under 20 mph. A risk of some frost and ice as the temp’s drop.

Winds will be from the West and South West. Temps of 1C to 8C
