Sunday’s forecast – Staying windy.

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing bands of heavy rain moving across the islands. Some dry slots. Winds gusting 50 to 60 mph. Today’s high of 7.3C

Overnight – Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Becoming drier with scattered showers later. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Morning – A mixture of sunshine and scattered showers. These at times will be heavy. Winds of 20 to 40 mph

Afternoon – Further rain will move across the Western isles. This will become heavy and persistent for a time. The cloud dominating. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – The heavy rain slowly clears away. We are going to see the cloud dominating with some light rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 4C to 9C
