On this Tuesday morning, we are seeing a covering of snow for many this morning. In some places, it’s just a dusting. This is already melting quickly in the morning sunshine. We are seeing frequent sleet and snow showers moving across the islands. Some sunshine in between. Frost and ice in places again. Overnight low of -1.3C. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Today – Further frequent sleet and snow showers will move across the Western Isles. Bringing additional accumulations to all parts. Some sunny spells at times. These showers will be squally at times. Possibly with hail and thunder. Some decent spells of sunshine in between. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of -1C to 5C but feeling as cold as -6C in the wind chill.
Wednesday – Cold start with spells of heavy rain moving in later as it becomes milder.
Thursday – Gales throughout the day. Spells of rain heavy at times and mild.
Friday – Sunshine and showers. Wintry at times with sleet and snow again. Brisk winds.
