Overnight snow showers have resulted in additional accumulations and a covering of snow in places. Winds under 20 mph with overnight low of -1C

Today – Further sleet and snow showers for the morning and early afternoon. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. Cloud increasing into the late afternoon and evening with rain moving in during the evening. Mainly light but becoming heavier overnight into Thursday. Winds of 20 to 40 easing during the middle of the day before increasing into the evening. Winds will be from the North West but shifting to come from the South West later. Temps of 1C to 7C
Thursday – Strong winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Spells of rain heavy at times. Some sunny spells. Milder but wintry showers moving in again later in the day.
Friday – Cold with sleet and snow showers along with blustery winds.
Saturday – Cold day with sunshine and wintry showers with brisk winds.
