Good morning all the Met Office have issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for Lewis and Harris. In this blog we will examine the warning and the impacts for those parts of the Western isles.
The warning comes into force at 0000 Friday morning until 10:00 Friday morning

It will be another cold need with sleet and snow showers and as mentioned above we could see some accumulations of snow again. A dusting in places with the greatest risk over high ground with temps getting down to -3c in some spots most just below freezing.

There are also road cameras on the Clisham and Barvas Moor which a good way to look at the wintry conditions.
