On this Thursday morning we are seeing rain moving across the Western Isles. This is heavy in places. Some dry slots and the cloud is dominating. Winds of 20 to 40 mph overnight low of 5.1C

Today – Spells of heavy rain this morning. The cloud dominating. Some showers. Into the afternoon we are going to see some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine with scattered showers heavy at times. Into the evening sunshine and cloud turning colder again with some sleet and snow showers moving across the Western Isles with a risk of frost and ice. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. Winds will be from the West and North West later. Temps of 1C to 9C. Feeling colder in the wind chill down to -4C later this evening.

Friday – Sunshine and showers. Wintry at times with sleet and snow again. Brisk winds.

Saturday – Rain and showers for the morning these wintry with sleet and snow at times. Brisk winds.

Sunday – Cold start with frost and ice with sunshine later and further rain into the evening.
