Sunday’s forecast – Cold again but increasing sunshine.

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing sleet and snow showers moving across the islands. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 5.4C

Overnight – We are going to see sleet and snow showers moving across the Western Isles. This will more than likely give a covering of snow in spots again. A mixture of clear skies and cloud. Winds under 20 mph. Overnight low of -3C

Sunday – We are going to see further showers moving across the Western Isles these will be wintry at times but they should ease down as the day goes on. We should see some decent and prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. However, the cloud is expected to advance into Uist and Barra later in the day thanks to an approaching warm front. Winds under 20 mph

Winds will be from the North and North West shifting North East later. Temps of -3C to 9C
