On this Sunday afternoon we are seeing wintry showers moving across the islands with hail and sleet as well as snow. Some decent spells of sunshine in between and variable amount of cloud. Winds under 10 mph and today’s high of 5.4C so far.

Monday – high pressure dominates the weather across the UK. A weather front sits over Western parts of the UK. We are going to see a cold night with widespread frost and ice. Light winds clear skies and cloud. A day of sunshine and cloud on Monday. It should be a fine and dry day the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the East and South East under 20 mph and temps of -2C to 8C
Tuesday – high pressure builds across Northern Scotland. We are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud once again. Some scattered showers but for most it will be dry. Winds will be under 20 mph. A cold morning and night once again there is a risk of frost and ice. Winds will be from the South and South East under 20 mph. Temps of 1C to 9C.
Wednesday – High pressure still dominates across the UK with a weather front sitting across the UK. We are going to see a fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. The odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out but for most dry. Winds under 10 mph. Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 3C to 11C
