Saturday’s forecast – Brisk winds and rain later.

Good evening Western isles on this Friday evening we are seeing a band of rain moving across the Western Isles. This is a slow moving band of rain and drizzle. Some of the rain is heavy in places. Winds of 20 to 40 mph and today’s high of 10.8C

Overnight – A cloud dominant night with spells of rain and drizzle. This will clear as the night goes on. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Some decent spells of sunshine with plenty of cloud. The sunshine will be hazy at times. It should be mainly dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – Overcast with some sunny spells and the cloud increasing as the night goes on. Some rain moving into the far West. Before slowly moving in further. Winds of 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 6C to 12C
