Friday’s forecast – Plenty of cloud again

Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing a mainly overcast evening with some sunshine. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 12.4C so far.

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Again a risk of frost and ice. The greatest risk for Lewis and Harris. Mist and fog is likely to form and we could see some light rain and drizzle. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. This will thicken in at times. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. The best of this will be during the morning. Some lingering mist and fog in the morning but will burn off. It should be mainly dry but the odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out. Winds under 20 mph.

Evening – Mainly overcast with sunshine at times. Hazy sunshine. It should be dry but we could see some drizzle for a time. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the South and North East. Temps of 5C to 14C
