Good afternoon and welcome to Friday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the islands, the UK and around the Globe.
On this Friday afternoon we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. Some hazy sunshine in the cloud. Its dry. Winds under 10 mph and today’s high of 13.7C so far.

Saturday – High pressure dominates the weather across the UK. Another colder night again with a risk of frost and ice. We are going to see some decent and prolonged sunshine in the morning and early afternoon. Cloud will thicken in as the day goes on. Sunshine and cloud for the late afternoon and evening. Hazy sunshine at times. Winds under 20 mph from the East and South East. Temps of 4C to 14C
Sunday – High pressure stays in charge of the weather across the UK. Another day of sunshine and cloud. Light winds. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. But an increasing amount of cloud into the evening. Winds under 10 mph from variable directions and temps of 7C to 16C
Monday – High pressure declines away and a new area of low pressure moves across Scotland. We will see some morning rain. This will be heavy at times. The cloud will dominate. Some sunshine at times. Winds will be from the North West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 5C to 11C but feeling cooler then over the weekend.
