Welcome to Monday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Monday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud. A few scattered showers but for most its dry. Winds under 20 mph and todays high of 10.3C

Tuesday – Low pressure across the UK with weather fronts across parts of the country. We in the Western Isles are going to see mainly overcast conditions for the night and the morning. A few scattered showers. Increasing amounts of sunshine later. Winds of 20 to. 40 mph from the North East. Feeling colder in the wind chill. Temps of 6C to 10C

Wednesday – A slak airflow across the UK. with winds coming from the North East. For us in the Western Isles. A mainly dry day. A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Winds will be around. 10 to 25 mph. A risk of frost and ice into the evening. Temps of 3C to 9C

Thursday – Again a slak airflow across the UK. We are going to see some decent and prolonged sunshine. A few scattered showers. Brisk winds around 10 to 25 mph from the North East. A risk of frost and ice in the morning. Temps of 2C to 10C
