Thursday’s forecast – stuck in a rut

Good evening Western isles. On this Wednesday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and clouds. A few scattered occasionally heavy showers. Winds 10/30 mph. Today high of 9.7C

Overnight – a mixture of clear skies and cloud. We are going to see some scattered showers which will be heavy at times. A slight risk we could see a touch of frost in some sheltered spots. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Thursday day – a day of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times but plenty of clouds. We are going to see showers and these at times will be heavy and possibly merging into some slightly longer spells of rain. Not all will see showers. Winds of 10/30 mph.

Winds will be from North East.

Stornoway – 05:37 and 21:10

South Uist – 05:43 and 21:11

3 days ahead

Friday, Saturday and Sunday – sunshine and cloud with North East winds. Scattered showers but increasing amounts of uncertainty towards the end of the weekend.
