On this Friday morning, we are seeing sunshine and cloud. a few showers and these are heavy in places. Winds under 20 mph and an overnight low of 3.4C

Across the Highlands and Eilean Siar on Wednesday Stornoway was the sunniest with 12.1 hours of sunshine.

Today’s pollen forecast is Moderate

Today – We are going to see some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine. A few showers and these will be heavy at times. There is a chance that some of these could be thundery. Still plenty of cloud. Winds under 20 mph and feeling chilly in the wind chill. Winds will be from the North and North East. Temps of 2C to 10C

Saturday and Sunday – Sunny spells and variable amounts of cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph.

Monday – Rain moving in and some rain later in the day. Winds increasing later to possible gale force in the late evening.
