On this Saturday morning, we are seeing a mainly overcast start to the day with some sunny spells. A few showers around and some of these are wintry in places. Overnight low of 3.7C. Winds under 20 mph.

Across the Highlands and Eilean Siar on Friday, Harris Quidnish was the wettest with 4.0 mm of rain and Stornoway was the sunniest with 6.8 hours of sunshine.

Today’s pollen forecast is Moderate

Today – We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. Not all will see showers but these will be heavy at times. There will be plenty of cloud. Some of these showers at times could be wintry and possibly thundery. Best of the sunshine in the evening. Winds will be from the North and North East under 15 mph. Temps of 3C to 10C

Sunday – Light winds and sunshine and showers. Feeling cold.

Monday – Mainly overcast with brisk winds and feeling colder in the wind.

Tuesday – Rain and showers with the cloud dominating. Brisk winds.
