Monday’s forecast – Rain and brisk winds.

Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing rain and showers across Uist and Barra. Drier with scattered showers across Lewis and Harris. Some sunshine. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 9.1C

Overnight – The cloud will dominate with spells of rain. These heaviest for Uist and Barra. Some clear spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning and afternoon – The cloud will dominate. Some rounds of rain will move into Uist and Barra and this will become heavy especially across Barra. Scattered showers and these heavy at times across Lewis and Harris. But plenty of dry slots where the cloud will dominate with a few sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – The rain will gradually clear away and behind it we will see showers and these will be heavy at times. Staying mainly overcast with some sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds overnight will be from the South East and into Monday will be from the East and North East. Temps of 4C to 10C but feeling colder in the wind chill.
