Monday – A deep area of low pressure moves across the UK with heavy rain and strong winds. ( Warnings have been issued more below). For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a split day. Overcast conditions with a cold start again a chance of frost and ice in the morning. Rain and showers moving later mainly across Uist and Barra. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Possibly gusting to 50 mph for Barra.
Tuesday – The low pressure clears into the North sea. Brisk airflow persists across the UK with gales at times. We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers across the Western Isles. These will be heavy at times. Feeling cold with a brisk North Easterly winds of 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 2C to 9C
Wednesday – The cold airflow continues across the UK. We are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These will be wintry at times with sleet and snow showers even falling to lower levels. Feeling cold in the wind chill. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. A risk of frost and ice in the morning. Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 2C to 10C
