On this Monday morning, we are seeing rain across Uist and Barra. It’s mainly overcast with hazy sunshine and a few scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph and an overnight low of 3.4C
Across the Highlands and Eilean Siar on Sunday, Stornoway was the sunniest with 5.5 hours of sunshine and wettest with 1.8 mm of rain.

Today – Mainly dry for Lewis and Harris. Overcast here with some hazy sunshine. A few scattered occasionally heavy showers. For Uist and Barra. Heavy and slow moving rain this will be persistent at times. The rain clears away later into the day to showers. Heaviest for Barra and South Uist. Winds will be from the North East around 20 to 40 mph possibly gusting 50 mph for a time. Temps of 5C to 9C but feeling colder in the wind chill.
Tuesday – Rain and showers with the cloud dominating. Brisk winds.
Wednesday – rain and showers. These wintry falling as sleet and snow for at times. Possibly to lower levels.
Thursday – Cold sunshine and showers brisk winds.
