Hello and welcome to a very late Weather Watch due to wordpress not saving correctly earlier. I lost an hours worth or work but I don’t want to let technology defeat me. This will be a shorter version.
The next 3 days

Friday – A cold airflow across Northern parts of the UK and the next weather system awaits out in the Atlantic which will dominate the weekends weather. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and showers. These heavy at times possibly thundery. Becoming more scattered into the afternoon and evening. Winds under 20 mph. Temps of 1C to 9C from the North and North West.
Saturday – Low pressure moves in of the Atlantic brining stronger winds and spells of rain heavy at times. For us in the islands winds will gust 20 to 40 mph. Spells of heavy rain will move in during the afternoon. Plenty of cloud with some sunny spells and feeling milder. Temps of 3C to 10C and winds will be from the East.
Sunday – Low pressure sits over Ireland. We are going to see spells of rain heavy at times. Possibly becoming persistent for a time but still some uncertainty of the track of the low and the extent of the rainfall. We are going to see winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the East and temps of 7C to 13C
