Welcome to Fridays Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Fridayevening we are seeing sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine with a few scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 9.0C

Saturday – A wet and windy Saturday as low pressure moves in. The Met Office have issued weather warnings (more below). We are going to see a cloud dominated day with some sunny spells. Rain will move in during the afternoon and evening this will be heavy at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the East and North East. Temps of 6C to 9C

Sunday – Low pressure dominates the weather across the UK. We are going to see a cloud dominated day with spells of rain which will be heavy at times with some sunny spells. Brisk winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the North East. Temps of 6C to 11C

Monday – Low pressure still sits to the West of Ireland. We are going to see a wet and milder day. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Spells of rain and showers these will be heavy at times. Winds will be from the East and South East. Temps of 6C to 14C
