Welcome to Wednesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Wednesday evening we are seeing rain and showers moving across the Western isles. The cloud is dominating with some clear spells. Winds under 20 mph and todays high of 10.7C

Thursday – Low pressure sits across Southern England. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the North East and temps of 6C to 12C

Friday – High pressure builds across the UK. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Winds will be from the North East around 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 6C to 11C

Saturday – High pressure for Northern UK and the next low pressure system moves in from the West. We are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud with light winds. Winds will be from the East and North East. Temps of 5C to 9C
