On this Thursday evening we are seeing a mostly fine and dry afternoon. Sunshine and cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Todays high of 12.7C so far.

Friday– The area of low pressure is still across the UK with brisk winds and spells of rain. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud with gales in the morning. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph at times. Rain and showers at times. Winds will be from the North East around 20 to 40 mph during the day. Temps of 6C to 12C
Saturday – High pressure builds across the UK as the low pressure system moves away. For us in the Western Isles we will see a day of sunshine and showers with brisk winds. Some of the showers will be heavy at times. Winds will be from the North West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 3C to 10C
Sunday – The next area of low pressure moves across the UK on Sunday. We are going to see a split in the weather on Sunday. Fine and dry with sunshine and cloud for Lewis and Harris with some scattered showers here. Sunshine and showers which are heavy across Uist and Barra. Winds will be brisk from the South East around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 6C to 11C
