On this Tuesday afternoon we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud with a few lingering showers but most places are dry. Winds under 20 mph and todays high of 10.1C so far.
Wednesday – Low pressure far to our East and high pressure sits across much of the UK apart from a trailing weather front. We are going to see a fine and dry day. Some decent and prolonged sunshine but still plenty of stubborn cloud. Should be mainly dry. Winds will be from the North and North East around 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 8C to 13C
Thursday – High pressure builds across the UK and some fronts move into Ireland. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see an overcast morning with some decent and prolonged afternoon sunshine. Most of the day should be fine and dry with a chance of some showers moving into Uist and Barra into the late evening. Wind of 10 to 20 mph with a slight chance of some gusts reaching 30 mph into the late evening. Winds will be from the North East and South East. Temps of 8C to 15C
Friday – High pressure sits across most of the UK but a weather front moves in from the West. Some overnight rain and this will linger in a few spots into the morning. We could see out hottest day of the year so far. A day of sunshine and cloud with some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. Winds will be from the South and South West under 20 mph. Temps of 8C to 16C
