Thursday’s forecast – Warmer

Good evening Western Isles we are seeing a mainly fine and dry end to the day with some light rain but for most it’s dry. We are seeing some late evening sunshine with the best of this across Harris. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 11.6C so far.

Overnight – Will see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some light rain but for most staying dry. Some early hours sunshine. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Mostly fine and dry with some decent and prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud once again. Staying mainly dry but the odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out. Cloud will increase from the South during the late afternoon. Winds under 20 mph.

Evening – Sunshine and cloud for most but cloud increasing for Uist and Barra. Some light rain and drizzle moving into South Uist and Barra by midnight. Winds under 20mph.

Winds will be from the East and North East and shifting to come in from the South East later in the day. Temps of 6C to 15C
