The week ahead forecast – Staying fairly warm

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one. It was a beautiful and warm weekend.
Tuesday – We are going to see an overcast day with some sunny spells at times. A few scattered showers. Winds will be from the South and South East around 10 to 30 mph easing under 10 mph and coming from the North East later in the day. Temps of 10C to 17C

Wednesday – we are going to see a fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. Winds will be under 20 mph from the South East. Temps of 11C to 21C again a risk of being the hottest day of the year

Thursday – A day of sunshine and cloud. Should be mainly dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out and risk of morning gales for Uist and Barra. Temps of 10C to 18C
Friday – A lot of uncertainty yet but it is looking wet and windy with a risk of gales. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 10 to 16 mph. Temps of 10C to 16C
