On this Thursday afternoon we are seeing a mixture of sunshine and cloud with scattered showers and these are heavy in places. Winds under 10 mph for Lewis but gusting 20 to 40 mph for Uist and Barra. Todays high of 17.8C

Friday – Will be a cooler day. We are going to see rain and showers moving across the Western Isles as the brisk winds finally ease. Afternoon and evening will be mainly fine and dry with sunshine and cloud. Winds will be around 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph during the early hours. Winds will be from the South and South West and temps of 10C to 16C
Saturday – Low pressure to the West of the UK and high pressure over much of the UK. For us in the Western isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud with brisk winds. A few scattered showers and these will be occasionally heavy at times. Winds will be from the South and South West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 8C to 16C
Sunday – High pressure across most of the UK but a weather front sits close to the Western isles. We are going to see an overcast day with some sunshine at times but the cloud is expected to dominate. Winds will be from the South and South West. around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C
