Welcome to Friday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Friday evening we are seeing some decent and prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 15.3C

Saturday – Weather fronts across the UK. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud with morning rain and showers clearing for most in the afternoon and evening. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. Winds will be from the South and South West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C

Sunday – High pressure reasserts itself across the UK. In the Western we are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Some decent spells of sunshine but cloud increasing in all parts as the day goes on. It should stay dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be from the South and South West around 9C to 16C winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Monday – high pressure sits across the UK once again. We are going to see fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. It should be dry. Winds will be from the South and South West under 20 mph. Temps of 9C to 16C
