Welcome to Monday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Monday evening we are seeing sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers. Winds under 20 mph and todays high of 18C

Tuesday – High pressure across parts of the UK with a weather front moving into the West. We are going to see a cloud dominated day across the Western isles with occasional spells of sunshine. Rain and showers which will be heavy at times. Winds will be from the South and South West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 12C to 16C

Wednesday – Low pressure sits out to the West with weather fronts moving into the West. We are going to see an overcast day with spells of rain which will be heavy at times and possibly persistant a times. Some sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Winds will be from the South and South West and temps of 9C to 14C

Thursday – Low pressure again sits to the West and we are going to see weather fronts sitting along the West coast and high pressure for the South East. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see a cloud dominated day with spells of rain heavy at times with winds gusting 20 to 40 mph possibly reaching 50 mph. Temps of 10C to 16C
