Weather Watch 18th June 2021

Welcome to Friday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Friday evening we are seeing mainly fine and dry end to the day. Plenty of cloud with some sunshine. A few isolated showers. Todays high of 12.9C and winds under 20 mph.

Saturday – A weather fronts sits across the UK. But high pressure is mainly in charge. For us in the western isles we are going to see a mainly fine and dry day with. sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. but still plenty of cloud. The odd isolated shower. Winds under 10 mph from variable directions and temps of 9C to 16C

Sunday – A couple of weather fronts sit across the UK. We are going to see an overcast day here in the Western Isles with some sunshine at times. Spells of light rain and drizzle for the afternoon and early evening but clearing away later in the day. Winds will be from the North and North West under 20 mph. Temps of 8C to 16C

Monday – High pressure builds back across Scotland and low pressure sits off the South coast of England. For us in the Western Isles it is expected to be a fine and dry day with plenty of warm sunshine and scattered cloud. Winds under 20 mph. Winds will be from the North and North West. Temps of 6C to 14C
