Thursdays forecast – Wet start improving later.

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing a mainly overcast end to the day with raind drizzle. Mist and low cloud. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 15.7C

Overnight – We are going to see an overcast night with rain and drizzle. Mist and fog patches. Heavy rain will move into the islands during the early hours of the morning. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning – Heavy rain will sweep across the islands and will be persistent at times. The cloud dominating with some lingering mist and fog patches. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Afternoon and evening. The heaviest of the rain will slowly clear away. Behind it we are going to see sunshine and cloud with some scattered showers. Cloud dominating with some mist and low cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the South West but will come from the North and North West by mid afternoon. Temps of 8C to 15C
