The week ahead forecast – A mixed week

Welcome to the week ahead forecast. The full in depth forecast for Monday can be found in the update below this one. It has been a warm sunny weekend with some thundery showers.

Tuesday – For us, in the Western Isles we are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. Showers once again will be heavy at times but expected to be fairly scattered. Winds under 20 mph from the South West shifting North West later. Temps of 12C to 17C

Wednesday – We are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine at times with variable amounts of cloud. Some scattered showers but most places expected to stay dry. Winds under 20 mph from the North and North West. Temps of 10 to 16C

Thursday – A fairly overcast day with some sunny spells. Light rain and drizzle at times. Winds under 20 mph from the West and North West. Temps of 10C to 17C

Friday – A fine and dry day with sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. It should be dry. Winds under 20 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 10C to 18C

Next weekend – Sunshine and cloud dry. Brisk winds. Feeling warm.
