Weather Watch 6th July 2021

Welcome to Tuesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Tuesday afternoon we are seeing some decent and prolonged sunshine some scattered showers. Heavy in places. Winds under 20 mph and todays high of 17C so far.

Wednesday – Low pressure across North East Scotland with plenty of weather fronts. We are going to see a day of sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine. Some light rain at times. Winds will be from the North and North West under 20 mph. Temps of 10C to 17C

Thursday – High pressure for much of the UK with low pressure off the North East coast of Scotland with a trailing weather front. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see mainly overcast day with some light rain at times. Some sunshine but this will be mainly be hazy. Winds will be from the West and North West. under 20 mph. Temps of 9C to 19C

Friday – Weather fronts move across the UK with low pressure to the far North West. We are going to see a fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged sunshine. Feeling warm. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds under 20 mph from variable directions. Temps of 11C to 19C
