Welcome to Sunday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Sunday afternoon we are seeing a few rain and showers. Plenty of cloud with some sunny spells. Some mist and low cloud. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 18.6C

Monday – Weather fronts move across the UK with high pressure to the North. We are going to see a few scattered overnight showers into Monday itself a mainly fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged sunshine. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds under 20 mph from the North East and temps of 12C to 18C

Tuesday – High pressure is firmly in charge across the UK. We are going to see a fine and dry day with some decent and prolonged sunshine but still plenty of cloud. Winds will be light under 20 mph from the North and North West. Temps of 12C to 19C

Wednesday – high pressure sits to the South West of us and weather fronts move into the far North West. We are going to see an overcast day with spells of light rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Some hazy sunshine at times. Winds will be from the South and South West. Temps of 12C to 18C
