The Dry July in the Western Isles

Good evening all it has been a dry July so far for much of the Western Isles.

so far July 2021 has had 15.4 mm of rainfall at Stornoway Airport

In comparison to the last 10 years up to the 22nd.

2020 – 45mm

2019 – 68.6mm

2018 – 23.6 mm ( finished the month on 54.2mm)

2017 – 42.8 mm

2016 – 108 mm

2015 – 88 mm

2014 – 52 mm

2013 – 28.4 mm ( finished the month on 44.6mm)

2012 – 18.4 mm ( Finished the month on 49.8mm)

2011 – 38.4 mm

South Uist

has seen 25.4 mm of rainfall so far

2020 – 44.6mm

2019 – 73.2mm

2018 – 23.4 mm

2017 – 53.4 mm

2016 – 118 mm

2015 – 84.6 mm

2014 – 64.6 mm

2013 – 30.6 mm

2012 – 12.6 mm ( Finished the month on 38.2 mm)

2011 – 17.8 mm ( Finished the month on 18.6mm)
