On this Tuesday evening we are seeing rain feeding into the Western Isles this is heavy in places. Some dry overcast spots in between the bands of rain. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 15.7C

Wednesday – Low pressure dominates the weather across the UK on Wednesday. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see an overcast day with rounds of rain moving across the islands. These will be heavy and at times persistent. In between plenty of dry slots with cloud dominating and a few sunny spells. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from from the North and North East coming from the North West for Uist and Barra. Temps of 12C to 17C
Thursday – Weather fronts move across the UK on Thursday with brisk winds. For us in the Western Isles the heaviest of the rain will clear away. We we will see another cloud dominating day with some light rain and drizzle with scattered showers. Winds will be from the North and North West around 10 to 30 mph. Temps of 12C to 16C
Friday – Low pressure over Scandinavia and an associated cold front races across Scotland on Friday. For us in the Western Isles once again we are going to see a cloud dominating day again. With some spells of light rain and drizzle. Occasional sunny spells. Winds will be from the North and North West around 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 11C to 16C
