Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing bands of rain moving across the islands with rain and drizzle. Plenty of dry interludes. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 15.7C
Overnight – We are going to see a cloud dominating night with rounds of rain moving across the Western Isles. This will be heavy and persistent at times. Some dry spells. With some of the heavier bursts, we could see increased amounts of surface water for a time during the early hours. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Wednesday – It’s going to be an overcast day with a few sunny spells. But largely grey. We are going to see rain and drizzle moving across the Western Isles with bands of heavy rain moving across the Western Isles at times. In some spots some persistent and heavy rain at times. Again the accumulation of rainfall could result in increased amounts of surface water for a time. There will still be plenty of dry spells in between the heaviest of the rain. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.
Winds will be from variable directions but largely from the North and North East for Lewis and Harris. West and North West for Uist and Barra. Temps of 11C to 16C
