Welcome to Wednesday’s Weather Watch taking a look at the weather for the next 3 days in depth for the Western Isles as well as covering the latest weather news from the UK and around the Globe.

On this Wednesday evening we are seeing a scattering of evening showers these occasionally heavy. Winds gusting 30 mph. Todays high of 17C

We are now going to take a look at the next few days weather for the Western Isles. All the images shown below come from the Met office and can be found by following this link

Thursday – Low pressure to the North East of the UK and weather fronts linger across the UK. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see an overcast day with some rain and showers. These wont be as heavy or as persistent as they were on Wednesday. Spells of lighter rain and drizzle. Some sunshine at times but mostly the cloud will dominate. Winds will be from the North and North West around 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 11C to 16C

Friday – Low pressure sits across Southern parts of the UK. Whilst a decaying cold front moves down from the North. For us in the Western Isles we are going to see another overcast day with spells of light rain and a few scattered showers. The evening will bring increasing amounts of sunshine. Winds will be from the North and North West under 20 mph. Temps of 11C to 17C
