Wednesdays – Rain and brisk winds

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing an overcast evening with some light rain and drizzle. Some sunny spells. Winds under 20 mph. Todays high of 15.8C

Overnight – A dry start to the night but heavy and persistent will move into Uists and Barra. Staying dry but overcast for Lewis and Harris. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning – Heavy and slow moving rain will move across the Western Isles. Persistent at times. Gradually clearing away from Uist and Barra. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Cloud dominating with some sunny spells.

Afternoon and evening – A few showers and some lingering rain for Lewis but the showers will become increasingly scattered. Some decent and prolonged sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. Feeling warm. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be from the South East but by the middle of the afternoon coming from the South West. Temps of 10C to 17C
